NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Lyford Cay Foundation and the St Andrew Society of The Bahamas announced the launch of a new one million dollar scholarship titled “Oris Russell Memorial Scholarship Programme,” on Monday afternoon.

The fund will be focused on students who are pursuing a technical tertiary education and graduate studies. Chairman of Lyford Cay Foundation, Basil Goulandris, said that the new scholarship will be one of many which continue to support the education of Bahamians.

The scholarship will be granted to two Bahamians, valued up to $17,500 per year for a maximum of four years. Applicants will be able to apply Spring 2025 when the scholarship portal reopens.
