Four people, including a security guard are being questioned by police for allegedly stealing aggregates from the premises of the newly constructed public cemetery at Tomlinsons.
Around 11:45 pm on Thursday, the police responded to a report where three suspects were seen on the premises loading gravel into a truck. Having arrived at the scene the officers met the men with shovels and several buckets of gravel stones.
They were arrested and taken into custody, along with the security guard, who was also on duty at the time.The vehicle was also seized and taken to the police station. Further investigations are ongoing into the matter.
