A 17-year-old boy was arrested following a stabbing in Barnes Hill.

The teenager was handed over to the St John’s Police by one of his parents, and was taken to the Coolidge Station.
The boy, whose name cannot be revealed because he is still a minor, is the suspect in the stabbing of 18-year-old Jvaughn Farrell of New Winthorpes.
Police say the incident happened about 9 p.m. on Saturday as Farrell was at a friend’s home in Barnes Hill.
A silver car drove up with occupants reportedly armed with guns and knives. One of the occupants reportedly stabbed Farrell several times before fleeing the scene in the car.

Farrell has been hospitalized in critical condition.
