State Media: Public Utilities Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas has announced the reverse osmosis plant which had been earmarked for Bethesda will instead be installed at the Crabbs facility.

It is a major operational shift as part of the effort to increase water production over a shorter period.
The Minister made the announcement during the ABS Evening News Friday, indicating the new plant will complement the water production facilities at Crabbs.
He revealed that the remaining equipment has been shipped from Dubai, and is set to arrive in Antigua in mid-November this hear.
This is one of several initiatives being pursued by the government to boost water production through reverse osmosis.
Progress is also being made on the installation of new plants under a deal with US-based Seven Seas Water Group.
