In May 2024, a story by Wehner revealed a horrific tale of the total disregard for labor laws and basic human rights. This story covered a story of the female manager at the Antigua and Barbuda Development Bank who is creating serious issues for workers at the institution.

The total lack of respect for workers and her seriously combative and narcissistic behavior has total destroyed employee/employer relations and staff morale. Some staff have broken down in tears after dealing with this woman who thinks that she is the be all and end all. She is horrible…An awful human being!
She knows everything and nothing anyone else says or does matters. She is so full of herself and treats persons like crap. It is reported that her behavioral patterns are signs of some sort of psychological issues but whether this is true or not should not be the burden of the staff to carry. It is alleged that she is no stranger to human stranger to labour-related issues and whenever she is challenged she likes to boast of who she knows in high places and who she can call.
