Colorado: Sixteen-year-old Amanda Overstreet, whose severed head and hands were discovered in her mother’s freezer, had a ‘bullet hole’ in her forehead, a witness in her gruesome murder probe has revealed.

Amanda’s whereabouts had been a mystery for almost two decades until a real estate investor in Grand Junction, Colorado, purchased a filthy ‘hoarder house’ from Leanne Imer, 55, in January this year.
When clearing it out, she found the severed head and hands in a chest freezer in the garage. The discovery launched a homicide investigation by the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
This month, law enforcement announced that DNA testing helped determine the remains belonged to Leanne’s daughter Amanda Overstreet, last seen in 2005 when she was 16.
In a new twist, the Grand Junction homebuyer has claimed there was a ‘bullet hole’ in Amanda’s forehead making it appear she had been killed ‘execution-style’.
Leanne allegedly told police that Amanda had been on a road trip with her stepfather, Leanne’s late husband Bradley Imer, when she ran away.
Bradley died from Covid-19 in 2021, according to his death certificate.
