State Media: A 14-year-old girl is now nursing a stab wound to her back, after she was allegedly attacked by a 29-year-old man from Bethesda in a bizarre incident in Lightfoot.
It is alleged that the man went to a house in the area where his daughter has been staying with a guardian. However, he became irate when he did not see his daughter, as the guardian had gone to collect her from school.

It is not clear what then transpired, but the 29-year-old man allegedly stabbed the 14-year-old girl, who was the lone occupant of the house at the time. She was rushed to hospital with an injury which is not considered life-threatening.
The injured teenager is the grandchild of the woman taking care of the man’s daughter.
Police are searching for the suspect as they continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
