The Government is reporting progress on a layer farming initiative to assist former members of feuding gangs.
The Junior Social Transformation Minister, Senator Michael Joseph, provided the update during a recent interview with ABS News.
“It’s a rehabilitation programme … to get young individuals who want to learn what it means to raise chickens for eggs, and then to support them in venturing off [on] their own,” Joseph said.
