As a craft teacher, she used the proceeds to fund craft supplies for her students and offered a helping hand to those in need, by letting them work in the canteen for a warm meal. “I’ve always kept a backyard garden filled with herbs like celery, parsley, thyme, sage, scallions, and oregano,” Grandma Mirie shares. “My style of cooking has always been fresh, flavorful, and from the heart. To this day, past students still rave about my chicken! Over the years, I’ve refined the recipe and discovered even more ways to perfect my seasoning.”
