Former Managing Director of Grenville Radio Limited, Ivor Grenville Theophilus Bird has died. Reports are he passed away moments ago at his Halcyon Heights residence. Bird was the son of the late Father of the Nation Sir V.C. Bird Senior and was the brother of the late Prime Minister Sir Lester Bird and former minister the late Vere Bird Jr among other siblings. For decades, Ivor Bird, known to many as ‘The Silent One,’ managed ZDK Radio and Sun FM.
