NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are questioning a 19-year-old male in connection with a shooting incident that injured a 21- year-old male on Monday 08th July, 2024.

The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m., on Cedar Way off Carmichael Road, according to police.

The victim sustained gunshot injuries to his lower extremities and was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle, authorities confirmed.

The 19-year-old suspect was subsequently taken into police custody following this incident;
however, the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unknown.
