
An Amerijet cargo plane landed safely at V.C. Bird International Airport on Thursday morning, after its crew declared an emergency en route from Miami in the United States to St Maarten. Officials say a full emergency was declared at the VCBIA as the plane encountered a problem with its flaps. Several teams were in place within minutes in preparation for the emergency landing which happened at 10:57AM. Four people were on board the Boeing 767.
