Twenty-year-old Angela Mejia has been remanded to prison, charged with the shocking murder of 9-year-old Chantel Crump. Police say Mejia picked up the child from Grays Farm last Wednesday and took her to Glanvilles, where she took the little girl’s life. Mejia appeared in court this morning, where she requested a lawyer. She returns to court on June 4 for committal proceedings. — State Media
