Kennard Memorial Turf club expresses heartfelt thanks

Kaieteur Sports- The Kennard Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) has expressed sincere gratitude to all its sponsors and supporters. The club takes the opportunity to say a big thank you to all contributors that make its recently concluded Phagwah horserace meet the success it was.
Among those receiving special commendation are the Metro Stationery and Office supplies, The Trophy Stall, Joe Jagmohan, Continental Group of Companies provider of Torginol Paints, New Building Society Limited, Colin Elcock Delmur Company Limited, Sylvie’s Variety Store, R Singh and Sons, P and P Imports and Exports, Hand in Hand Insurance, Top Notch Auto Sales, Mike Pharmacy, Ron Ramnarayan, Mrs. Chand Kennard and Family, Attorney at Law Rajendra Poonai, Nand Persaud Group of Companies, Blue Seenarine, Peter Parsatoon, Ramesh Persaud, and Surendra Ganesh.
The KMTC is one of the premiere horseracing venues in the country and is synonymous with staging top-notch horserace meet. The Phagwah horserace event was no exception.
Also receiving commendation was the Guyana Police Force contingent led by Deputy Superintendent Michael Newland.
The day’s event was dominated by horses of Mr. Dennis DeRoop Simply Royal Racing Sable.
Matriarch and honorary President of the KMTC Mrs. Chand Kennard stated that a bumper crowd was on hand and the day’s event was by and large incident free.  (Samuel Whyte)
