People can’t gather in peace no more. Every time somebody try fuh hold a lil meeting, de hooligans does appear like is magic and with placards and cheerleaders. Before yuh could say ‘dictatorship,’ de hooligans get let loose, slapping people and keeping noise fuh disrupt public assembles.
Back in de day, dem use to call it ‘orchestrated thuggery.’ Now dem call it ‘spontaneous protests’. Same jackass, different saddle.
Dem boys seh de State become de ultimate hitman. If yuh oppose dem boys in red, yuh best prepare fuh some legal gymnastics. Today is de taxman knockin’ at yuh door. Tomorrow is de drug squad showin’ up fuh search yuh fridge. If yuh real unlucky, is some fancy charge land in yuh lap—public mischief, sedition, or de latest one, ‘contempt of Big Man.’
