Kaieteur News- A 40-year-old truck driver was arrested by police on Wednesday, after he was caught on video dumping waste in the Greenfield Housing Area, East Bank Demerara (EBD).

According to police, Jermaine Barrington, a resident of Section ‘B’ Block ‘X’ Diamond Housing Scheme, EBD is expected to be charged. His arrest follows multiple complaints from residents of Greenfield Housing Area, a police report stated. Barrington has reportedly been in the habit of dumping waste material along the parapets in the area without impunity.
