Kaieteur Sports- The Demerara Zone of the ongoing Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports /GCB One Guyana U21 Inter-club Cricket tournament, featured a number of top performers as action continued in the nationwide competition this past Saturday and Sunday.
At Malteenoes Sports Club Ground:
Ogle beat Malteenoes by 190 runs East BankĀ
Ogle posted 316-7 after 48 overs thanks to MohendarĀ Singh clobbering 153 (14Ć4 5Ć6) while Alex Mangra chipped in with 42.
Bowling for Malteenoes suffered as four bowlers returned a wicket apiece before their team was shot down for 126-10 in 44.5overs, despite Joshua Bollers (34) and Vickash Asaram (31).
Bowling for Ogle was led by Ajay Gainda 4-15 and Samuel Heeralall 3-22.
GCC beat MMZ by 207 runs
At the MMZ Ground on the West Side, GCC racked up 334-7 in 50 overs after national all-rounder Thaddeus Lovell pummeled 176 with 11 fours and a whopping 17 sixes.
Bowling for MMZ, Kelvin Raymond 2-39, Udeshram Seetaram 2-44 and Navendra Sankar 2-52 toiled for their wickets, as their batting collapsed to 127-10 in 25.1over, despite a fighting 48 from Sachin Balgobin.
Spinners Aryan Persaud 5-22, Joash Charles 2-29 and Krisha Singh 2-5 led GCCās bowling.

DCC beat Fairfield by 7 wickets at DCC Ground
Fairfield 71-10 off 20.3 overs Saeed Sattaur (31), bowling for DCC Ezekiel Wilson (2-6), Wavell Allen (2-18), Makai Dowlin (2-13).
DCC 72-3, Inderjit Nanan (23*) and Kishawn Silas (18*). Bowling for FairField, Moin Persaud (2-36) and Deodat Ramdeo (1-10).
TransportĀ āAā beat Police by 6 wickets at Police Ground
Police 56 all out, Joash Samon (12). Bowling for Transport āAā, Riyad Latif 4-11 and Afraz Khan 2-1.
Transport āAā 57-4, Miyhiem Khan (18). Bowling for Police, Collis Hardcourt (3-19), Jomar Adams (1-16). Transport B also beat DCB Select XI by 7 wickets.
