Kaieteur News- Dem boys seh, morning is a blessed time. Birds singing. Sun shining. Coffee brewing. Is de time fuh feel alive and give thanks. But some people does wake up like dem just come back from war. Dem face twist up like rain fall whole night on dem bed alone.
One man tell dem boys he living with he wife 20 years, and every morning he waking up next to a funeral. De woman face so sour, de toothpaste stop squeezing. He seh even de alarm clock start refusing to ring—de clock get traumatize. One time she pass near milk, and de milk turn cheese in seconds.
Dem boys she, these morning monsters don’t only wake up vex; dem wake up and distribute vexation like pension. You tell dem “Good morning,” dem answer, “What good about it?” Is like dem sleeping on hot nails and drinking vinegar in dem dreams.
Worse yet, dem don’t keep de sourness to demself. No no. Dem carry it to work, to minibus, to supermarket. Next thing yuh know, cashier vex, bus driver vex, even de security guard vex. One sour face does start a whole chain reaction—like COVID of bad vibes.

Dem boys seh is high time people stop spoiling de whole day from de morning. If you wake up and your face feel like cement, stay in bed! Or better yet, go back and try again. Morning mouth is one thing, but morning mood could kill nation building.
