_{Raheim Herbert scored Tut Bay’s lone goal vs Calcutta Bulls}

BELIZE CITY, Tues. July 22, 2025

Tut Bay FC, Yo Creek FC, Napoles FC and Vikings FC all enjoyed victories in the first leg of the National Amateur Interdistrict Championship (NAIC) quarterfinals, organized by the Football Federation of Belize (FFB), over the weekend, as 8 teams battle for a place in the semifinals.

Raheim Herbert’s 67’ strike was enough to seal the Belize District Football Association’s (BDFA) closing season champions, Tut Bay FC’s 1-0 win over Calcutta Bulls at the Marion Jones Sports Complex on Saturday evening, July 19.

At the People’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon, July 20, Axel Alamilla’s hat trick (26’, 45+1’ & 72’) and Laim Reyes’s brace (16’ & 22’) led Yo Creek’s 7-1 march over Quintas Elite FC, with other goals delivered by Francisco Rivas (28’) and Edimir Carrillo (84’). Quintas’ sole consolation goal came from the penalty spot by Brandon Wiltshire.

At the Michael Ashcroft Stadium last Saturday evening, July 19, Byron Ferrel’s brace (17’ & 47’) led the Vikings’ 3-0 mauling of the Sharks of San Pedro, with Dejmari Pop (76’) adding a 3rd goal.

And at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium last Saturday night, July 19, Napoles FC dominated Griga Conquerors, led by rookie Jefferson Gonzalez’s brace (67’ & 80’). Other goals were by Collin Moody (19’), Keon Badillo (39’) and Darren Meyers (88’). They also profited from Griga defender Ronel McDougal sending the ball into his own net for the final 6-0 score.
