NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in Acklins arrested a juvenile girl and two adults after seizing a large quantity of suspected marijuana on Friday August 23, 2024, in Salina Point.

Preliminary reports indicate that officers executed a search warrant at a home shortly before 2:00 a.m. and discovered a large quantity of suspected marijuana on the premises, leading to the arrest of the three occupants, a 34-year-old male and two (2) females, aged 35 and 13.

The suspected marijuana’s weight and value are unknown at this time.

Investigations into this matter are ongoing.
