reportedly are dissatisfied with the answers they have received from the authorities in connection with the death.
According to reports, the Barbuda native had been a resident of the institution for over 20 years and died there on June 29, 2024.
Persons close to his family members say they suspect that he died as a result of being underfed.

Therefore, they insisted that an autopsy be carried out to determine the actual cause of his death.
On Monday, sources report, relatives were contacted and invited to the Holberton Hospital Morgue on Wednesday, August 21.
They believed they were going to identify the body to the pathologist – as is the procedure before
an autopsy.
On arrival at the morgue, the sources say, they were met by a doctor and an officer from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).

However, their hopes of finding answers were dashed when they reportedly were advised that no autopsy would be undertaken, since the deceased had been tested and found to be positive for COVID.
The classification of his demise as a “COVID death” has left the family very unhappy.
They are asking what would have prompted the authorities to undertake a COVID test, and they suspect it is a cover-up of the true cause of
his passing.
Accordingly, the sources say, the family has contacted an attorney.
