Dwayne Simon has accepted a new role with the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (UNOPS agency) as a Communications Specialist.
He will be supporting the great work that the team at the Antigua Barbuda Department of Environment is doing.
Dwayne Simon is a communications specialists with The United Nations Office for Project Services. He worked as aconsultant for several projects both nationally and regionally. He is passionate about helping people. He attained a Master’s of Science in Management and Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry with Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of the West Indies. This bolstered his project management and organizational skills. Heworked as a lecturer in Chemistry and Public Speaking at the Antigua State College. He then transitioned into leadership by serving as the head of various academic departments. He is the brainchild of Dadli Directory – the largest local online business directory in Antigua and Barbuda.

He is passionate about leadership and communication and has attained the highest possible award in the Toastmasters International organization:
Distinguished Toastmaster. He is also the co-founder and executive director of Simple Support – a local charity that supports communities by creating platforms for people to help each other.
He is a recent alumnus of the US government’s Young Leaders of America Initiative.
It is a Fellowship Program that empowers emerging entrepreneurs from the Western Hemisphere to enable the full economic potential of the region’s citizens.
He is also a Draper University Alumnus which entailed an immersive Silicon Valley training component in California.
As a professional consultant, He hasworked with many organizations including the World Bank (GPSA), United Nations, Caribbean Policy for Development Center, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and Zero Waste Antigua Barbuda. Most of the projects involve biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, and the empowerment of marginalized groups.
