Antigua and Barbuda celebrates close ties with China

State Media: Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has celebrated the bilateral relationship between Antigua & Barbuda and the People’s Republic of China (PRC).

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Founding of the PRC, PM Browne applauded the developmental assistance offered this country through agriculture, the building of the V.C. Bird International Airport and the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

He also praises the imminent start of the construction of over 150 homes in the Booby Alley area, with which the Government has partnered with the Chinese Embassy. He confirms over 100 homes will be built elsewhere around the island through the partnership.

Browne also affirms Antigua’s and Barbuda’s support for the One China Policy.
