Elite League action returns to NTC this weekend

After a dramatic set of fixtures last week, fans can expect nothing less than intensity and ambition as teams chase their first win, defend their unbeaten records, and continue their climb toward a share of the $4.5 million cash pot. With $2 million up for grabs for the champions and substantial rewards for the top four finishers, every point counts.
It was a nightmare weekend for defending champions Guyana Defence Force (GDF) FC, suffering a second defeat of the season in a shock result against Den Amstel FC. Fruta Conquerors FC, meanwhile, cruised past Mainstay Goldstar FC with a confident 3-1 victory, while Western Tigers FC edged Santos FC thanks to a clutch 59th-minute goal by Tyric Mc Allister.
