NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an armed robbery incident at a business establishment located East Mall and Poinciana on Thursday August 15,  2024.

Preliminary reports confirm that around 4:00 p.m., two (2) unknown males armed with firearms entered and robbed the establishment of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing the scene in a white KIA Soul.

Responding officers later discovered the mentioned vehicle, which matched the description of the suspects’ vehicle abandoned on John Wentworth Drive.

Further inspection revealed that the vehicle
had been stolen during a previous robbery on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

Police are actively searching for the suspects involved and urge anyone with information about this armed robbery to contact 911, 919, or the Criminal Investigation Department in Grand Bahama.
