Missing: 15-year-old Shavine Russell

Kaieteur News – Two school girls, aged 13 and 15, have been reported missing by their relatives. The girls, identified as 13-year-old Aneeza Bangatt and 15-year-old Shavine Russell of Supply, East Bank Demerara (EBD).

The girls attend the Soesdyke Secondary School.

According to a statement by the Guyana Police Force (GPF), the girls have been described as “slim built, four feet seven inches in height, with shoulder-length hair and brown in complexion.”

The young man the two teenaged girls were last seen with.

“These two girls have known each other since they attended the same school. They left home on 4th August 2025, at about 10:30 hrs. for an unknown destination in a Black Toyota 192 bearing registration number PJJ 1933. They have not returned since, and a report was made to the Police on 4th August 2025 at 19:36hrs,” police said.

Police have since released the girls’ photographs and that of a male whom was last seen in their company. Persons with any information about the whereabouts of the teen girls are asked to contact the nearest police station or the commander for Regional Police Division 4B, Superintendent Wayne DeHeart on Tel Number: #661-4716.
