Governor General Sir Rodney Williams used the occasion of his Throne Speech to pay tribute to the Honourable Asot Michael, whose passing on November 5 marked the loss of a prominent figure in Antigua and Barbuda’s political history.
“The nation was deeply saddened by the passing of the Honourable Asot Michael on the 5th of November 2024,” Sir Rodney remarked. “His contributions to Antigua and Barbuda’s political and social landscape are indelibly etched in our history.”
