DEAR EDITOR:
I Agree with Bro Frank in Most of His Sentiments. However, I would ADD that our Schools need to return to Teaching the “Relationship Building” subject named “CHARACTER COUNTS” which started in the Early 1990’s then fizzled.
I guess because The EFFORTS required of our teachers was too much to give the continuous serious attention needed for the success of the subject matter in our schools and homes.
Relationship Building Courses must be made a Required Course in ALL Our Educational Institutions from preschool to college education — building incrementally with age.
All our churches should be ENCOURAGED to carry out these courses with their Youth & Adult members.
When the teaching of THESE courses is taking place simultaneously our society may then gradually go through a positive transformation.
We all sit back and complain and maybe (like I am doing now) make suggestions. However, A NATIONAL EFFORT that is CONSISTENT by the custodians of church & school is necessary to IMPACT the ENTIRE society at the same time. Let’s go o o o o
