Man dies after logging truck topples in Mabura

Kaieteur News- One man was confirmed dead on Friday afternoon after a logging truck he was traveling in toppled along the Mabura Road in Region 10.
Commander of Region 10, Assistant Commissioner Kurleigh Simon, confirmed the fatality in a brief interview with Kaieteur News. “The truck toppled coming down the hill,” he stated.
According to Simon, the Guyana Police Force received information about the incident around 14:00 hrs. While details were still emerging, he noted that ranks were gathering the necessary information which will soon be provided.
While investigations continue, the identity of the deceased has not yet been released, and it remains unclear what may have caused the truck to overturn.
