Man drowns at Crabwood Creek

Kaieteur News- A 30-year-old man lost his life after he allegedly drowned on Wednesday morning at Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, Berbice.

The dead man has been identified as Bedore Totaram. The alleged drowning occured between 06:00h and 7:30h.
Relatives disclosed that Totaram suffered from epilepsy. Police confirmed that the body was recovered from the Side Line Dam Canal, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne, Berbice. “The body was then examined for marks of violence, but none was seen,” police reported. The body was then taken to the Skeldon Public Hospital, where it was pronounced dead by a doctor.
