A magnitude 7.6 earthquake was reported in the Caribbean Saturday night. The US Geological Survey said the earthquake was reported just after 6:30 p.m. local time about 125 south-southwest of George Town in the Cayman Islands at a depth of about 6 miles. The event sparked a tsunami warning, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Haiti, Belize and the Bahamas remain under a potential threat of tsunami, with Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands under an advisory. There are no reports of injuries or damage.
