In a dynamic show of leadership and community spirit, Peetron Thomas, the newly elected President of the Harrison Champions and a popular humanitarian and singer, served alongside his executive team at Thursday’s National Youth Rally.

The Harrison Champions, the official student body council for the Harrison Center in Antigua and Barbuda, formerly known as ABIS, made significant contributions to the event, positively impacting their peers and the wider community.
Peetron shares with reporters that he is currently studying music production at the Harrison Center. He is hopeful of leaving a legacy and making a great impact on the school while aiming to shift the image of what people generally perceive ABIS to be.
With the development of the council and his role as president, he aspires to impact not only the general community but also the Caribbean on a wider scale, particularly in promoting trade schools. Peetron believes that the level of tertiary and continuing education should be respected through the council’s initiatives.
During the rally, students from the Harrison Champions volunteered in various capacities, showcasing their dedication and teamwork. Some focused on packaging treats for attendees, while others coordinated the field for the march pass. Additional students managed the seating arrangements and ushered guests to their designated areas, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Due to their exceptional level of service, the general public highlighted these specific volunteers, recognizing the students of the Harrison Center for their dedication to the success of the event.
