2025 Inaugural Breakout T20 League…
Kaieteur Sports- With the Inaugural Breakout T20 League just days away, local franchise the Guyana Rainforest Rangers have appointed Kemol Savory as Captain of the team.
Savory, who led Guyana during the early stages of the CWI Regional 4-Day Championships before handing the keys back to skipper Tevin Imlach, recently returned home after the Harpy Eagles retained their title in this year’s competition and was immediately named as Captain of the T20 franchise.
The wicket-keeper was among the leading run-scorers for Guyana and a key cog in the wheel across all formats, with this new role further highlighting the immense talent possessed by one of Guyana’s top batsmen.
Harpy Eagles Head and Assistant Coaches Ryan Hercules and Garvin Nedd, will also oversee the team’s mobilization during the tournament as they will assume similar roles with the Rainforest Rangers.
The players entered camp on Wednesday and will have their final match simulations tomorrow evening from 17:00h at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence; weather permitting.
Camp is expected to break on April 21 with the team winging out for Trinidad and Tobago on April 22.
