  Verdes FC continues to lead the Premier League of Belize (PLB) 2025-2026 Opening Season with 11 pts, as they enjoyed their 3rd win, 4-1, over Progresso FC at the People’s Stadium on Sunday, September 14.
  Paraguayan import Luis Ibarra’s brace (67’ & 90+3’) led the Green Machine’s offensive, as they trundled over the Sugar City eleven, after Christian Sanchez (5’) had opened the scoreboard, and Desmond Wade (45’) gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at the half. Only Andir Chi scored a consolation goal for Progresso.
  At the Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Sunday, Daijon Daniels’ hat trick (38’, 45+1’ & 53’) led Napoles FC’s 7-0 rout of Benque Viejo United, with other goals by Kallai Cho (25’), Krismar Martinez (32’), Kenyon Smith (53’) and Johan Jaime (73’).
  At Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Saturday night, Brian Chavez’s 54’ strike was enough to secure Port Layola FC’s 1-0 victory over Belmopan FC.
