By Jermaine N. Edwards, Community Advocate
The disappearance of Orden “Passo” David is not just heartbreaking—it’s frustrating. It is yet another glaring reminder of a growing crisis in our country: too many of our people are going missing without a trace or explanation.
Orden, a beloved advocate and committed member of the Bolans community, has been missing since January 25th. His family is desperate for answers, but are we going to witness the same tired, predictable pattern? A brief surge of concern, followed by silence, and then the ultimate insult—life moving on as if he never mattered.

Are we truly doing enough? Are we allocating the resources necessary to find him and others who have vanished? Are we offering rewards or incentives to encourage public cooperation? Most importantly, why are we so quick to let these cases fade from memory?
This isn’t just about Orden. This is about a system that consistently fails families and communities. How many more names will be added to the growing list of unresolved disappearances and unsolved murders? How many more parents, children, and loved ones will be left in torment while we act as if this is normal? The names Donna Marie Christian and countless others still haunt us, yet we proceed with business as usual.
To those who may have information: Please speak up. People don’t just disappear without a trace. Even the smallest detail could make a difference.
Contact the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080 or the CID at 462-3913. If you know something and remain silent, you are part of the problem.

And to the government: Spare no resource in finding Orden. Don’t allow another case to go cold while families wait in agony. These disappearances demand urgent action, not empty promises. Show us that you value the lives of the people you represent. Deploy technology, manpower and community rewards—do whatever it takes. Stop treating these tragedies as isolated events and start addressing the deeper issues that enable them.
Enough has become too much. Orden David’s life matters. Every life lost to these unresolved disappearances and unsolved murders matters. We cannot accept this injustice any longer.
Let us speak out. Demand action. Bring Orden home.
